A TRIBUTE TO PATRIOTS – HONORING THE RULE OF LAW: Welcome guests. . . Thank you to fundraising

Before I was a lawyer, I was a history major. Please indulge me a moment while I recall a bit of history for
the record.
On April 6th of this year, there was a change in the governing body of DCRP after our County Convention.
Many of us in this room worked for that change – within the system and by the rules that existed.
We wanted more representation for the grassroots, and we won a majority of Central Committee
seats. When the old leaders abandoned the organization to set up their own, we accepted the
responsibility of leadership. When we found the DCRP broke and broken, we got to work rebuilding; and
it has been satisfying to experience having the majority to assert our will. Some of you know that we have
been taking a lot of friendly fire from those who disagreed with us in April and continue to disagree with
everything we do. That has been disappointing and rather unpleasant. But I am here to say loud and
clear:
We are MAGA Patriots, and we are FIGHTING to save this country!
The new DCRP wants to restore the spirit of what it means to be Republican. We support candidates and
elected oTicials who are Constitutional Platform Republicans (or CPRs) and who hold dear the ideals on
which this great country was founded. Our VOTER SLATE reflects that to the best of our ability, and we
pray that every candidate who is elected is faithful to our values and helps restore the rule of law.
The DCRP mission is driven by the conservative values and principles outlined in our Platform, including:
1 – Transparency: We advocate for government transparency and accountability. Have you ever seen
our government so opaque as now and with so little accountability? The rule of law is being
systematically degraded, and we see the damage all around us.
2 – Fiscal Responsibility: We support balanced budgets, prudent management of taxpayer funds, and
tax policies that support families. We most certainly do NOT support decades of Continuing
Resolutions (that kick the proverbial can down the road) and a very unbalanced budget with an
unsustainable 2 trillion-dollar deficit that is funding our own demise as a country. A return to the
rule of law and regular order would be most welcome.
3 – Human Rights: We believe in the right to life, the sanctity of the family, religious freedom, and all the
rights enumerated in our Constitution. Imprisoning J6 peaceful protesters without speedy trials and
other rights is as unamerican as it gets. Once again, the rule of law degraded, and our rights stolen.
If we stand our ground, CPRs have an opportunity to resuscitate this country and put it back on a healthy
track. Constitutional rule of law and a traditional moral compass will be our guides as we fix our sights
on good government of, for, and by We the People.
