Every two years, the DCRP holds their county convention to conduct party business. Delegates play a key role by voting on various items and participating in their Legislative District caucus meeting.
Delegates elect several positions while in their Legislative District caucus meetings.
A delegate must be a registered Republican voter in Douglas County.
The delegate registration must be completed anytime from January 1st – March 1st, along with the $5 filing fee.
No prior party experience is required.
All individuals wishing to serve as delegates must register with the Nebraska Republican Party using the official delegate registration process.

Can I attend without registering? No. To be seated as a delegate at the county convention, individuals must register as a delegate between January 1st-March 1st using the official State Party Delegate Form.

Serving as a delegate is one of the most direct ways to participate in party leadership and decision-making. We encourage all interested Republicans to take part.
